...PHOTOSHOOT four B: inside on a cold day...

sb28 on manual 1/16 on the top left.

this was done using a sekonic flash meter at first, although shot with the d70. i was originally playing around with the flash synced to a mamiya tlr, but thought the photo was too cool to take a chance on film... so ended up shooting a few with the d70... will get the 120 roll soon... hopefully they came out nice too...

playing around with cls... i think shooting more and more is helping me understand how the lights respond... and playing around with the group setting on the master sb800 and so on...

this is totally setup btw... it was a lot of work...

*no firefighters were hurt during the making of this image* ... :D

this was shot right after the last one... shot this for the photo III class... inspired by Crewdson i have to admit... actually... i am experementing with setup shots a lot lately...

this was shot on a really cold day... was documenting the training of the Amherst Fire Dept. called one of my friends cause i knew there would be interesting photos to be taken... :D

SB800s again... trying out some environmental portraits...

the results came out nice... was shooting with the 70-200 initially... but for these shots used the 18-70mm


for the second image...

one SB800 top left... set at +1.7ev i think

post processing: just added a bit of blue and cyan... maybe resulting in a green cast... :P but i liked how the leaves in the back felt...
